Sitaar began in 2024 with something simple: a desire to create modest clothing that reflects the beauty, purpose and dignity of authentic hijab.

But the story behind Sitaar began long before 2024.

Where It Started

Sewing has been part of my life since childhood. What started as a skill I grew up with eventually became a craft that I could use to create something meaningful.By 2024, that experience began taking a new direction.

I started bringing together my love for sewing, modesty and beautiful clothing, experimenting with fabrics, shapes and different ways of creating garments that were not only beautiful, but practical and modest.The more I created, the more I became drawn to the beauty of khimars and authentic hijab — not simply as clothing, but as a form of worship, modesty and identity.

That journey became the foundation of Sitaar.

What had once been a skill I carried from childhood was becoming a vision: to create modestwear that allows women to embrace comfort, quality and authentic modesty without having to compromise on thier core values.

Why Sitaar?

The word Sitaar means “veiled,” which carries the meaning of concealing oneself.

For us, hijab is not following a fashion trend. its about the essence of authentic hijab — choosing to cover with intention, modesty and purpose.

There are countless hijab styles, khimar styles and modest fashion trends available today, but Sitaar was created with a different purpose: to make modestwear that helps women feel comfortable and confident while remaining true to the principles of authentic hijab.

We believe a beautiful garment can still be simple. A modest garment can still be elegant. And choosing proper hijab does not mean sacrificing quality, comfort or femininity.
